In order to ensure that the hair dryer can perform its proper functions of drying and styling, to use it correctly, reasonably and safely, and to extend the life of the appliance, you should pay attention to the following matters when blowing:
1. The hair dryer must be used under the power supply voltage specified on the nameplate. For hair dryers with a three-wire power cord, the ground wire should be connected correctly.
2. When using the hair dryer, the air inlet and outlet must be unobstructed, otherwise not only will the use effect not be achieved, but it will also cause overheating and burn out the appliance.
3. When used to dry wet hair, the air outlet of the hair dryer should be kept at a certain distance from the hair (not less than 50mm) to prevent blocking the air outlet and burning the hair. At the same time, it is important to avoid the water vapor generated when blow-drying hair from affecting the insulation strength and causing leakage. Therefore, keeping a certain distance is important for safety.
4. Before using the hair dryer, try to switch the hair dryer from "hot" to "cold" so that the power to the electric heating element can be cut off first. Then let the remaining heat of the electric heating element be blown out by the cold air to reduce the internal temperature of the hair dryer, and then cut off all power. This can slow down the aging of the hair dryer's internal insulation and extend its service life. At the same time, it is not easy to burn other objects when placed on the table.
5. Try not to use the hair dryer continuously for too long. It should be used intermittently to prevent the heating element and motor from overheating and burning out. The hair dryer should be placed in a dry place when not in use. It should not be placed in the open air or in humid places. When taking it out after a long period of use, the insulation resistance should be checked first. If it meets the requirements, it can be used normally to ensure personal safety during use. Since there is dust in the air, although many hair dryers are equipped with filters at the air inlets for protection, they cannot prevent dust with very small particles, and not all hair dryers have filter cloths. For this reason, dust must be cleaned regularly to prevent clogging of air ducts and damaging components.
6. Do not throw the hair dryer casually. The heating element and motor may be damaged due to mechanical impact. At the same time, do not disassemble it easily to avoid damaging the components. In order to ensure the normal use of the hair dryer, lubricating oil should be regularly added to the bearing part and other rotating parts of the motor, but the amount of oil should not be too much to avoid flowing to the coil and causing failure.
