1. Shell. It protects internal parts and is also an external decorative part.
2. Motor and fan blades. The motor is installed in the casing, and the fan blades are installed on the shaft end of the motor. When the motor rotates, air is sucked in from the air inlet and blown out from the air outlet.
3. Electric heating element. The electric heating element of the hair dryer is made of electric heating wire and is installed at the air outlet of the hair dryer. The air discharged by the motor is heated by the electric heating wire at the air outlet and becomes hot air and is sent out.
Some hair dryers are equipped with a thermostat near the electric heating element. When the temperature exceeds a predetermined temperature, the circuit is cut off for protection.
4. Wind deflector. Some hair dryers have a circular windshield at the air inlet to adjust the air inlet volume. For hair dryers without a circular windshield, you can cover part of the air inlet with a piece of paper to adjust the air inlet volume. If the air intake volume is small, the air blown out will be hotter; if the air intake volume is large, the air blown out will not be too hot. It should be noted that the air outlet cannot be blocked too much, otherwise the motor will be damaged or the heating element will be burned out due to excessive temperature.
5. Switch. Hair dryer switches generally have three positions: "hot air", "cold air", and "stop". White is commonly used to indicate "stop", red indicates "hot air", and blue indicates "cold air".
